Cissi Elwin & Co = To Whom It May Concern!
An open letter addressed to Cissi Elwin and her Colleagues at the Swedish Film Institute (SFI) and Swedish Television (SVT)…
Dear Cissi,
Greetings and Welcome to an introduction of VXZN .
VXZN is a Program in English that focuses on issues concerning the Swedish Film Industry.
The reason we choose English to speak about matters concerning Sweden has to do with "Transparency".
English gives accessibility beyond the boarders of Scandinavia allowing the International Community (who we also have informed) to follow along in the developments of this movement that has evolved since the discovery of what we believe to be signs of wide spread corruption and unethical practices by SFI and SVT.
VXZN will host a series of conversations with people who have relevant points of view regarding these pressing issues and to insure the Democratic spreading of those views.
This initiative is one part of a multi-levelled effort to counter act the rampant and routine practice of the manipulating of messages that the Swedish Public receives whenever the two most powerful dominating forces of Swedish Culture are concerned, SVT and SFI.
Recently we have read some press releases about an investigation scheduled to soon be conducted by the Department Of Culture.
Unfortunately the timing of those announcements and the choices made of who will be involved in that particular investigation does not satisfy or assure us in any way.
On the contrary. If the intention is indeed a genuine attempt to get to the bottom of things, then the circumstances surrounding the initiation of this investigation, and the selection of its committee, also come into question.
Based on certain facts we have detected, we deem its inception to be conspicuous and utterly lacking in credibility.
Considering the doubt raised by these announcements in the Press, we have concluded to further peruse our own private investigations into these matters.
What we have discovered in our research is startling. First and foremost we are struck by the level of complacency regarding these issues. How on earth could your organisation continue unchecked for so long with no one held responsible or prosecuted on any number of possible charges? Anywhere else in Europe the behaviour of these Organisations (SVT and SFI) would be perceived by the General Public to be criminal.
Your Policy suggestions imply the building of Cartels. Despite your rhetoric, your intentions are apparent. All the hallmarks of Cartel building are present in what you are proposing.
The good old days when you could get away with offering monopolies as the only option to the people of Sweden are over. It doesn’t work anymore. It doesn’t work for anyone except you and your cohorts. It’s unacceptable.
The pillars of the system you have constructed rest upon the maintenance of unethical operations implemented and covertly enforced by questionable means.
The networks. The platforms. The mechanisms of Institutionalized educations. The orchestration of professional careers, groomed to achieve pedigree through rigging showcasing windows. Securing key posts for them in positions scattered across the entire spectrum of mass media where they can influence Public Opinion in favour of your Organisations hidden agendas. All the components are related and work in unison to achieve the same ends, which are Political and Economic control. And now on top of it all you want even more control? You have the audacity to suggest a sanctioned blockade of small Independent production companies?
No matter what the logic behind that could be, all it does is reveal an archaic reasoning that denotes your despotic tendencies. These symptoms run very deep. In fact down to the core of both organisations, touching every level and aspect of their constructions. The gatekeepers. The media snipers. The political torpedoes. All of that together with a myriad of other filters carefully woven into the fabric of the Swedish Cultural Landscape.
Our Values are extremely different in regards to the treatment of the issues at hand. The changes we demand in response to what you propose are quite radical. We propose the total dismantling of your organisation. We want in no uncertain terms for it to be abolished once and for all along with the supporting Institutions that have, and continue, to contribute to this most tragic state of affairs.
I am not alone with this opinion and vision of a healthy Film Industry. A Film Industry that can stand on its own two feet and compete with dignity Internationally. A Film Industry unfettered by an exploitative and interfering authority that has done much more damage than good to ever justify its existence.
To be fair, I am informing you that this link is being sent to thousands of people out there that have been following the developments of this movement and its formation over the last months. The link is also being sent to the major News Agencies.
Now you know. You cannot pretend you didn’t hear it later on. That’s not an option. We have an audience. They are watching closely. It’s your move. The ball is in your court.
Cissi I am now formally inviting you to be a guest on our Program VXZN. I hope you grasp the seriousness and consequences of what is happening around you, and have the foresight to understand that this will not simply disappear by ignoring it or avoiding it. Don’t hide in your Ivory Tower. Come out and clarify. Talk to us directly one on one.
If you refuse to address these issues in an open conversation and debate with us, (where you will be questioned and be allowed and expected to consequently motivate your policies) we will be left with no choice other than to continue to reach out to the International Community. From there the next steps will be taken against you and your organisation legally in a Court Of Law.

Your actions are violating them.
Cissi please take this opportunity to assure us that your intentions are good and dispel our doubts through a clear explanation in a face-to-face dialogue with the members of VXZN, We will have an audience from the Establishment, from he Independents, from the Media, And from the General Public. Everyone concerned will be involved because its our problem not yours alone to solve.
Take this opportunity we are offering to you for us to welcome you as our guest. Let us show you what we do and what its like to be an Independent outside your system. Use this conflict as a way to gain insight into the sacrifices made by Independents. Open up to us and learn first hand how your policies effect us negatively.
Maybe with some good will from both sides we can find a common ground and begin to work together for the same goal. Which as we understand it could be to create a Great Film Nation that is based on fair play and free enterprise for anyone and everyone who wants to contribute to it.
You are going to have to share the wealth. Share the Knowledge. And share the opportunities if you want to survive through this crisis. You are driving your Organisation to the brink of extinction. Because your policies are unfair. They are wrong. We are fighting them for just those reasons.
